Reminders

Important information regarding meal pattern changes for SY 21-22

As required by USDA:

  • All grain items offered at both breakfast and lunch must be whole grain-rich or 100% whole grain.
  • School food authorities must offer at least two different options of fluid milk, including unflavored milk. Milk must be flavored or unflavored fat-free or unflavored low-fat (1% fat or less).
  • Milk usage must be counted by kind for both breakfast and lunch.  Utilizing a milk recipe to document milk usage is no longer allowed.

As of January 1st, 2021 all NDE Moodle courses will move to the new learning management system Canvas. As soon as Nutrition Services courses are available we will notify you. Thank you for your patience.
