Fueling Children’s Healthy Growth, Learning, and Play

  1. Working with a translations services agency to translate educational materials curated as a part of grant objectives into the top non-English languages spoken in Nebraska schools.  
  2. Conducting formative research to inform the development of culturally appropriate nutrition education materials for Nebraska communities for addition to the curated portfolio. 
  3. Together with school nutrition services, collaborate with students, families, and the community to develop and implement recipes that align with various culinary traditions while meeting meal pattern requirements. 
  4. Offer school nutrition trainings and resources for school coaches, teachers, afterschool program coordinators, and other applicable stakeholders.
