School Wellness Policy

School Wellness Policy Triennial Assessment

The Triennial Assessment is due by June 30, 2023, and is comprised of four steps:

1. Measure the extent the local wellness policy complies with the USDA wellness policy requirements an model policy language;
2. Demonstrate progress made in reaching the goals of the wellness policy;
3. Measure the extent of compliance for all schools in the district in meeting the wellness policy requirements; and
4. Make the Triennial Assessment results available to the public.                                                                                        Upon Completion of the four steps, upload your Triennial Assessment documents into the Google folder identified for your school food authority, available here. This will help ensure that the documents are retained and are accessible for both your school staff and the NDE program specialists who will review them during your school’s next Administrative Review.
