Exploration Strategies build on the knowledge gained through the Awareness Strategies through activities conducted outside of the classroom learning environment.

These strategies:

• Focus on developing career readiness skills.
• Enhance awareness of career options.
• Provide a means to connect to local and area businesses.
• Help prepare students for careers through practical hands-on experiences.
• Can take place during the school day or through summer experiences.
