Welcome to the Nebraska Department of Education’s Early Childhood (Birth–5) website.

This website provides guidance, tools, and resources to support Nebraska’s early intervention and preschool special education systems. Educators, administrators, service providers, and community partners will find information related to the Early Development Network (IDEA Part C), Preschool Special Education Services (IDEA Part B, Section 619), and Child Outcomes reporting through Teaching Strategies GOLD®.

Resources include federal and state guidance, reporting requirements, training materials, technical assistance, and evidence-based practices designed to support high-quality services and improve outcomes for Nebraska’s young children with disabilities and their families.
