New Teachers (in-state)

The initial teaching certificate is valid for teaching in all Nebraska school systems unless an applicant requests the certificate is valid for nonpublic schools only.  The certificate is valid for a period of five years and expires on August 31.

The following documents are required for an initial in-state teaching certificate:

• Content Test Scores – Praxis II
