Schools must be aware of the regulations around handling and storing chemicals. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulates chemical holdings and offers information to schools on applicable laws. By following these regulations, schools can maintain a safe environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
We want to inform you about a new resource that has recently been launched – the SchoolSafety.gov website. This Federal School Safety clearinghouse offers schools a one-stop shop for school safety best practices and resources to help create a safe and supportive learning environment where students can thrive and grow.
