Schools must be aware of the regulations around handling and storing chemicals. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regulates chemical holdings and offers information to schools on applicable regulations. By following these regulations, schools can maintain a safe environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
We want to inform you about a new resource that has recently been launched – the SchoolSafety.gov website. This Federal School Safety clearinghouse offers schools a one-stop shop for school safety best practices and resources to help create a safe and supportive learning environment where students can thrive and grow.

Winning Every Day: A School & Comm. Mental Health Partnership
ESU #3 – September 13th
This day is designed to bring school mental health professionals together in our service area, alongside community providers, for a take on “taking a mental health day.” We focus on mental health, bringing our providers together for collaboration and fun. We play up a “Friday night lights/tailgate” theme, and it’s a great day- it’s our most attended and most requested event here! We bring in a keynote speaker. We have opportunities for a facilitated lunch group that partners our schools with community providers and time to take care of your well-being with games and fun throughout the day.
