Teach in Nebraska Today Program

Pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. § 79-8,148, the purpose of the Teach in Nebraska Today Program is “to attract individuals to the teaching profession who have expressed an interest in teaching and to support the employment of those individuals as classroom teachers by providing a grant for service as a classroom teacher in this state.”

This grant is open to classroom teachers in public and nonpublic schools, as well as teachers employed by an ESU in Nebraska.

Some dates to keep in mind: applications will open June 10, 2024; applications are due no later than July 10, 2024; applicants will be notified of approval or denial no later than October 10, 2024; and awards will be paid no later than December 10, 2024.
