Family Night – Advocacy 101
Advocating for the needs of a HAL child is imperative, but it can be difficult to know where to begin. This one-hour learning session will give parents and families of HAL students strategies to advocate for their child’s needs in school, provide an overview of available resources, and provide stories of success in advocacy from family and school perspectives. Presented on Mar 16, 2022
Welcome to the HAL Family Forum for Fall of 2021! This event is a time for families of HAL students across Nebraska to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another. The topic of this forum is managing student anxiety, perfectionism, and behavioral manifestations of giftedness. Join us to see other families that have children experiencing similar joys and struggles as your HAL child. Knowing you have others out there like you is not only important, but empowering!
