Forms - Biennial Courses Form (NDE 08-023)Please Note: For 2010-2011 School Year, per the following statute 79-704(2), schools will not be able to use biennial courses to count toward instructional units for Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. When the State Board of Education adopts standards for Social Science, most likely to occur this coming year, schools will no longer be able to count biennial courses for social science instructional units. For all other content areas, schools can continue to use biennial course offerings to count toward instruction

- Interactive Audio-Visual & Web Based CoursesPlease Note: For the 2010-2011 School Year, you will not be required to fill out an Interactive Audio-Visual Course Form (NDE 08-045 or a Web-based Course Form (NDE 08-048).
All Synchronous and Asynchronous courses will be listed on the Curriculum Reporting System. On-site teachers and college teachers (having the appropriate certificate) will be listed via the NDE Portal on the school Staff Snapshot and Staff Assignment. A curriculum report will be generated for each teacher entered.
The Curriculum Reporting System will open January 11, 2011. At that time, all distance learning and web-based courses will be listed under an on-site teacher or a college teacher. There will be a column titled “Special Course Indictor” on each curriculum report. For each synchronous course, the number “4” will be inserted; and for each asynchronous course, the number “5” will be inserted.
