Spanish Club Ideas

Have the club throw theme parties (Dia de los Muertos, Cinco de Mayo, Navidad). During these parties we have broken piñatas, brought gifts or food to share, pinned a head on a “Calavera” when they are blindfolded. Perhaps you could place students in small groups and have them teach spanish to small groups of students during the school day or after.

Our Spanish Club teaches local elementary students basic Spanish twice a month. The kids really look forward to it and think working with the older students is great. We’ve also taken an outing to the Latino Museum in Omaha which was really educational.
