Elementary Keyboarding Workshop

Teaching strategies for incorporating keyboarding into the elementary curriculum will be demonstrated by Lisa Hanson while workshop participants have hands-on opportunities at the keyboard. The Position Paper for Elementary Keyboarding and a scope and sequence from several exemplary programs will be reviewed. Teachers will review several leading keyboarding software applications.

Target Audience

Elementary teachers, business teachers, computer technology coordinators, administrators and paraeducators involved in keyboarding instruction.
