SEA Certifications and Agreements

On May 15, 2020, the Nebraska Department of Education’s “Certification and Agreement” (the State’s application for ESSER funds) was approved by the U.S. Department of Education (USED) securing $65,085,085 in emergency, one-time funds to help school districts respond to COVID-19 impacts.
