Project Focus Areas
The project focus area is career awareness, and it also encompasses social emotional learning skills.
Project Overview
E-Sports will engage the students in various aspects of the sport which consists of gaming, career awareness and social emotional learning skills. The students can learn about the careers of game developers, graphic designers, marketing, and sales. The understanding of self-awareness, social awareness, responsible decision making, self-management and relationship skills will advance their SEL skills to allow them and their teammates to have an enjoyable gaming experience. The student ratio is currently 1:7 which allows the staff to coach the students to create strategies and gaming plans.
