 Assistant Professor (Second Language Acquisition and French & Spanish), Modern Languages, University of Nebraska-Kearney
 Job Description or Duties: The Department of Modern Language is seeking a full-time tenure-track assistant professor to start in August 2019. Teaching graduate SLA courses (in English) in the online Spanish MAE; teaching undergraduate courses in language and culture in French and Spanish; Coordinate and assess language programs; service to the department, college, and/or university. Normal teaching load is 12 hours per semester; faculty active in scholarly research may be eligible for a 3 hour per semester reduction in teaching load.
Required Qualifications: Doctorate in Second Language Acquisition at the time of appointment, and ability to teach in the online MAE; 18 + hours graduate hours in French and Spanish; evidence of successful teaching; evidence of/interest in the coordination of language programs and assessment; evidence of research potential.
Preferred Qualifications: Willingness to direct study abroad programs.
