NWLP SEEKING WORLD LANGUAGE DISTINGUISHED SCHOLAR AWARD NOMINATIONS

The Nebraska World Language Program (NWLP) is seeking nominations for The World Language Distinguished Scholar Award. The award recognizes Nebraska high school students for their leadership in language learning, commitment to language study, appreciation for cultural diversity, and communicative competence.

High schools in Nebraska may nominate one student per level, per language offered in the building. Nominations must be made by the student’s teacher by using the online form: https://nde.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8c535YRsCtucCZ7.

Nominations are due February 15. Nominated students will receive an online registration and application form due March 8.

The NWLP committee may choose up to three students per Educational Service Unit (ESU) for recognition. Winners of the World Language Distinguished Scholar Award will be announced the week of April 1.
