Framework for K-12 Science Education

The Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are K–12 science content standards. Standards set the expectations for what students should know and be able to do. The NGSS were developed by states to improve science education for all students.

The vision for Nebraska Open Educational Resources (OER) is to provide access to valuable resources. This initiative represents a collaborative effort among the Nebraska Department of Education, Educational Service Units, school districts, and educators. Together, the goal is to curate and create high-quality open educational resources that align with Nebraska’s curriculum standards, enhancing teaching and learning opportunities across the state.
