Teacher Workshop – Crane Migration Field Trip
March 21, 2025
The Nebraska Academy of Sciences, in partnership with UNK Biology and the Prairie Project are proud to announce this year’s Crane Migration Field Trip on Friday, March 21st. This year’s Field Trip will have two components, an all-day teacher workshop will take place from 9:30-2:00 and Field Tours led by our Ornithologist and Biology friends at UNK.

Women In Science Conference
April 4-5, 2025 in Lincoln
This annual conference is designed for high school science teachers and their students, encouraging young women to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by engaging with successful women scientists, participating in hands-on workshops, and learning about college STEM opportunities.
Conference Registration is now open and limited to 100 students
UNO Modeling Workshops for Nebraska Science Teachers
UNO will be partnering with the American Modeling Teachers Association to offer two summer workshops.
Modeling Physics – Mechanics – June 23-July 3, 2025
Introduction to Modeling Instruction – July 21-25, 2025
Both workshops can be taken for optional graduate credits and are $76 per credit
