$1.8 MILLION AWARDED IN STUDENT SUPPORT AND ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT GRANTS
The State Board of Education voted unanimously to award grants to 11 schools totaling $1,843,000. The schools earned the funds through a competitive grant process. The U.S. Department of Education Title IV grants will help fund student support and academic enrichment projects. Grant-winning schools focused on projects that provide well-rounded educational opportunities, safe and healthy students, and effective use of technology.
The following districts will receive Title IV-A, SSAE grants:
