  3. The documented evidence forced people to come to grips with the reality of child labor. The pictures were used in the lobbying efforts to bring about effective legislation to eliminate child labor. It helped people retain public images of the problem.
  4. There is still much work to be done in completely eliminating practices related to child labor. There is especial concern for children in third world countries who are making the products that were once made in Great Britain and the United States.
