Fall STS In-service Workshops

2018 STS Fall In-service Workshop Schedule

Scottsbluff – Tuesday, October 2 , 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (Mountain Time)
Western Nebraska Community College – WNCC Harms Center – Room C139
Tour – Aulick Industries, 730 Avenue I
Wear closed-toed shoes.

North Platte – Wednesday, October 3, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (Central Time)
North Platte Community College – North Campus Room 202
Tour – Gerald Gentleman Power Station, South of I-80 at the Sutherland Exit –
For safety purposes, we require everyone to wear jeans, and closed toed shoes.  Everyone will need a picture ID to get on plant site.  If someone forgets his ID he or she will not be allowed on site.  The tour lasts between an hour and an hour and a half.  Two weeks prior to the tour I will need a number of visitors so I can reserve the appropriate number of tour guides. One week prior to the tour I will need a list of names of all those who are attending.  If you are coming on site in individual vehicles, the vehicles will have to go through a search process which could take up to 15 minutes.  So we suggest coming in as few vehicles as possible. Registrations MUST be in to Tony by September 18th.

Lincoln – Tuesday, October 9, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (Central Time)

Omaha – Wednesday, October 10, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (Central Time)

Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required. Registrations MUST be in to Tony by September 18th.  Disclosure Statement and Safety Brochure will be sent after September 18th.   Disclosure Statement MUST be signed and returned to Tony by September 27th.

Norfolk – Thursday, October 11, 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. (Central Time)
Northeast Community College-Norfolk – Lifelong Learning Center, Suite C&D
Tour – GreenFiber, 3421 Old Highway 8
Only the first 20 to register will be allowed on the tour. They cannot allow video or still photography, including cell phones, and all participants should plan to wear walking shoes.
