The Business, Marketing, and Management Career Field Area provides opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of topics in areas such as financial literacy, business technologies, communication, business, and consumer law, entrepreneurship, accounting, economics, personal finance, financial services marketing, retailing, fashion marketing/merchandising, international marketing, sports, and entertainment marketing, global business, and hospitality and tourism.

Nebraska DECA

The mission of DECA, Inc. is to enhance the co-curricular education of students with interest in marketing, management and entrepreneurship. DECA helps students to develop skills and competence for marketing careers, to build self-esteem, to experience leadership and to practice community service. DECA is committed to the advocacy of marketing education and the growth of business/education partnerships.

Nebraska FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is a national career and technical student association for students in middle school and high school who are interested in business administration, business education, management, finance, and information technology careers. Over 5800 students in more than 150 high schools and middle schools in Nebraska participate in the FBLA program. The benefits of FBLA membership are leadership development, career preparation, community service, networking with business and community leaders, and challenging competitions.
