TDA Professional Learning Opportunities

8th Grade Teacher or Curriculum Leader Opportunity

The Nebraska Department of Education in conjunction with NWEA will be offering a series of three text-dependent analysis (TDA) workshops.  While the TDA is not going to be included on the summative ELA test, NDE would like to engage districts in a partnership to enhance instruction for TDA across the state.  In addition, NDE would like to encourage districts to offer TDA scoring events or to work with their ESUs to develop TDA scoring events.

 District/ESU Certified Facilitators or ESU Staff Developers Opportunity

The Nebraska Department of Education in conjunction with NWEA will be offering a series of three text-dependent analysis workshops.  While the TDA is not going to be included on the summative ELA test, NDE would like to engage ESUs in a partnership to enhance instruction for TDA across the state.  In addition, NDE would like to encourage ESUs to offer TDA scoring events for the districts in their regions who are interested.  These workshops are also open to 8th grade teachers.  Each district is able to send one representative. The registration links for teachers are different from those included in this email.
