CATCH Curriculum and Materials for Afterschool Programs

Receive training and materials focused on nutrition and physical activity program designed for out of before/after and summer programs.  Nebraska Department of Education is utilizing the CATCH curriculum, an evidence based program (Coordinated Approach To Child Health) that is currently being used in all 50 states.  The training and supporting curriculum materials will be provided to you at no cost through a grant to increase the knowledge and skills of individuals who work with children in the before/after and summer program setting. We do ask that you agree to respond back to correspondence from NDE  that will be sent out next spring with the number of youth that you have used the curriculum with, whether that be 5 or 500.

We are offering two trainings this spring, the first training will be held at Schuyler Middle School on May 29th and the second training will be held in Harvard Public Schools (10 minutes from Hastings) on June 10th , both from 9:00 to 3:30.  The training is limited to 30 individuals per location, so register soon to secure a spot.
