Early Care and Education Management Training Program
This 12-module series, totaling 45 clock hours, is designed to increase the knowledge about young children and their development and the management skills of early childhood center directors and family child care providers.
The purpose of the program is to increase the knowledge and abilities of administrators in center and home-based child care and early childhood education programs, thereby providing more effective management and improving the quality of services to children.
Overview of Early Childhood Care and Education Program Management
The program consists of twelve separate modules taught in an interactive workshop format. Each workshop is 3 1/2 hours in length. Follow-up activities are included with each module to provide opportunities for reflection and application of new information. The twelve modules are as follows:

- The Program Administrator as Manager and Leader
- Partnerships with Families
- Infants and Toddlers: Development and Programs
- Preschoolers: Development and Programs
- School-agers: Development and Programs
