Self Assessments
Self-Assessments are available below for each section of Nebraska’s Core Competencies for Early Childhood Professionals. Individuals and programs are encouraged to use the self-assessments to learn more about their current skill strengths and specific areas where they can further develop their knowledge and skills in early childhood education. (Note: the Planning Learning Experiences/Curriculum Knowledge Area of the Core Competencies has six self-assessments.)
