Broadcast Your Business
February 18

Entrepreneurs have the opportunity to showcase their existing or launch-ready business using rapid-fire delivery of ideas and information. Audience members will get a sampling of innovation taking place in our local businesses. Within a timed 5-minute slot, broadcasters must call the audience to action with real-time opportunities including but not limited to: trying a product, visiting a location, testing a new product line, investing or recommending employees.

Speaker Ray Lush, a serial entrepreneur of 5 businesses and 2010 Grow Nebraska Mentor of the Year, has sold 100,000 bird feeders in 2009. Become an Entrepreneur Workshop

The workshop is a hands-on and in-depth informational workshop. The workshop offers participants a very detailed and real-life look at what entrepreneurship is, what the risks of owning a business are and how to anticipate and overcome challenges. Many of the topics covered are taught by local professionals who have experience that adds to the workshop environment. The participants will work on developing a working Business Plan. Three sessions, the third session will be arranged by participants.
