Early Childhood Collaborative Partnership Study
In 2009, the Head Start-State Collaboration Office commissioned a qualitative study to explore the process of developing partnership agreements between Head Start programs and their school partners. This study has been submitted for publication in the School Community Journal. This study, "Collaborative Partnerships for Providing Early Childhood Services in Nebraska: A Qualitative Study, was conducted by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Office of Qualitative and Mixed Methods Research, under the authorship of Manijeh Badiee and Vicki L. Plano Clark, and Eleanor Kirkland.
As a result of this study, the Head Start-State Collaboration Office hosted a retreat with key partners to develop partnership agreement templates that could be used by Head Start grantees as well as school districts, and other child care or community-based providers in local partnership development.
