HOW TO GET STARTED
Interested in implementing PBiS for your school? First of all, congratulations. You're at the beginning of a great decision; PBiS is proven to increase positive behaviors, decrease negative behaviors, facilitate learning, and uses research on effective professional development that results in classroom implementation.
To get started, we recommend contacting the NPBiS Project Coordinator for specific details on how your school or district can participate.
Steps to Implementation:

Building Principal (and others, if desired) attends one-day Administrators' Academy

Begin building staff's knowledge, information, and support for PBiS

Establish at least an 80% staff commitment

Establish readiness for implementation

Identify team members who are willing to commit to attend trainings and monthly meetings

Complete and submit PBiS I Application

Notification by NDE of acceptance to attend PBiS I
