A unique in-service opportunity focusing on strategies to engage and motivate students was offered at sites across Nebraska the last full week in February. Nancy Blair, School Improvement Consultant was the presenter. Participants experienced many engaging and motivating instructional strategies in action then examined how classroom management, literacy strategies, cooperative learning, and formative assessment interact to increase student engagement and motivation to learn.
