About Us

HSTW | MMGW Overview
High Schools That Work and Making Middle Grades Work are two of the nation's largest school improvement initiatives for school leaders and teachers. Nebraska is a member state in both the High Schools That Work and Making Middle Grades Work networks. Membership provides Nebraska schools an opportunity to learn together and share promising practices that are research-based and that have proven to be successful in urban, suburban, and rural districts.
Throughout the year, a variety of professional development opportunities for the High Schools That Work, Making Middle Grades Work, and Technology Centers That Work network sites are offered. National workshops, webinars, site-specific coaching, and professional development allow schools and districts to select a format that works best with their school improvement plans and budgets.
