Reimbursement Rates
Mileage Reimbursement Rate
Established by the Department of Administrative Services under State Statute Section 81-1176
The rates for regular pupil transportation (non-special education) and enrollment option transportation are as follows:
Effective July 1, 2011, the State Mileage Rate is $.555.
- Regular Resident District Students: 285% of $.555 = 1.5818
- Enrollment Option Reimbursement: 142.5% of $.555 = .7909
Prior to July 1, 2011, the State Mileage Rate was $.51.
- Regular Resident District Students: 285% of $.51 = 1.4535
- Enrollment Option Reimbursement: 142.5% of $.51 = .7268
