Updated Information about the BMIT Endorsement Transition Process

All completed applications or transition plans mailed to Bonnie Sibert by June 15, 2010 were approved. Those who submitted transition plans by June 15, 2010 will have until Sept. 1, 2012 to earn the required 100 points.

For those teachers who completed the application, the new Business, Marketing and Information Technology field endorsement Code 3040 and the COOP Ed/Diversified Occupations Code 1605 supplemental endorsement were added to your online teaching certificate on August 1, 2010. To verify your teaching endorsement found on your teaching certificate, go to http://www.education.ne.gov/TCERT/ and select Current Certificate and HR Lookup found in the Searches section. You will not receive a new printed teaching certificate until you complete the certificate renewal process.

If you submitted a transition plan, you received an email confirmation from Bonnie Sibert (bonnie.sibert@nebraska.gov). In order to successfully complete the transition plan, you must have proof that you have taken a Coordination Techniques course. Upcoming online course offerings include:
